SRDATF: Voluntary Chairperson
The Southern Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force would like to invite candidates to apply for the position of voluntary Chairperson. The Chairperson is appointed by the Task Force for a three-year term.
The Chairperson is a key figure to the Task Force and brings with them a level of experience, commitment and skills necessary for the post.
The SRDATF has responsibility for delivering on the government strategy ‘Reducing Harm, Supporting Recovery, 2017-2025’. The Task Force monitors drug and alcohol trends in the region and responds where appropriate. It also funds and supports 23 drug & alcohol services in the region.
SRDATF board membership consists of representatives from the Statutory, Voluntary and Community Sectors, together with Public Representatives.
Potential Selection Process:
A letter expressing interest in the above position will be sent to: SRDATF Co-ordinator , Kate Gibney, 1st Floor, Kinvara House, Dublin Hill, Cork.
The letter may be from the candidate or with his/her permission may be written on their behalf. Details of the candidate’s strengths and experiences in the above criteria are desirable. It may be useful to include a C.V. Selection committee to meet with interested candidates to discuss the role, time commitment & assess the candidate’s suitability for the position.
